Thank you for all your videos. I'm glad to see your fans are meeting you to let you know the difference you've made in their lives and health. I know you have in mine. Bees are probably a year or two down the road for me, but I'm growing some of my own food and looking forward to growing and eating even more. Thanks again, John. You are truly a life saver!

I like BOTH biodynamic/permaculture/food forest gardens AND raised bed gardens. It depends on the application. I felt in my small 4000 sq ft of space I would not be able to implement a full on food forest AND generate as much food as I would like. So I went with raised beds using biointensive method instead. If I had 1+ acres, I feel this would easily be enough space to do a food forest instead, although I may also have some rasied beds near the house as well :)

I grew some lettuce in my garden this month. I ran out of compost and bought the only compost available that day from Rogers Garden and it was biodynamic compost. Within weeks, my lettuce grown in biodynamic compost was so full of life, vigorous and luscious! (Compared to the lettuce grown on the same day in organic compost from the local stables, which was growing "shyly" and slowly). Wow! Now I am looking into biodynamic methods of gardening!

I first read about this in the book "Farmer Jane" and can never have enough about biodynamics. Thanks for sharing!

That is so interesting about the bees, I really liked that idea. I don't know if I speak for myself but I'd like to see you do another show on aquaponics, I've seen your other shows on them but they seemed to be more on a commercial scale, I wanna see an every day average joe aquaponics utilization. I also think a show of you just hanging out or doing whatever you do besides gardening would be cool. Thanks and keep up the awesome work.

hi so aside from biodiversity and homeopathy which is more to try to have a balanced system, what do they do when they actually have a pest problem? thanks

this person is right, you can easily get a small clip on mics you can connect to your phone and just record like that or even just pick up a cheap handy recorder which you can connect a small shirt clip on mic too, it'll sound like your in a studio nice and clear then sync it all in with the sound from your camera.

your should try growing black seeded simpson lettuce, it would be the most fastinating lettuce you would ever grown, because it grows up a stem and you just pluck it off from the sides when you need it.

If you have a link to the biodynamic philosophy pdf, please let me know. I went to the biodynamic farming website and couldn't find it. It was a little unsettling to find Whole Foods' presence there. Not for profit should mean not for profit? Right? I think the biodynamic farming philosophy just makes a lot of sense, but it probably doesn't make a lot of dollars.
I am currently single, so no clones needed.. for now anyways ...

Biodynamic agriculture would be something good if it wasn't for that crazyness about energy, homeopathy and astrology.

Paulo Silva so like 99% of the concept? I mean using compost doesn’t make you biodynamic, it’s based on astrology.

What's different for John though is these videos enable him to show women who he really is. So he could very well get a woman who is a 10 in many things including her looks:)

sounds too much like religion to me. if it's a technique in a permaculture toolkit, though, it's okay

how is this possible, you should lower your standers, because instead of going for a 10 (highest score possible) just get 2 five, or 3 three, or 4, 2.5 but not 10 one's, i m kidding, i hope u understand my ramblings just one thing to keep in mind, dont date crazy's, not even if shes a 10 no crazys. trust me, i learn that the hard way, many many times.

I dig the ideas behind Permaculture, but Biodynamics seems like voodoo to me...
@isahappy23407 жыл бұрын
It is based on Rudolph Steiner 's vision - Check him up - it is actually very complex - in terms of biology - astrology etc..
