Do you think that stimulating the vagus nerve too much through an external (applied outside of the skin) electronic device could cause palpitations?

It can over-stimulate for sure. I've experienced it with two external devices. The VN signals are afferent and efferent and if afferent signaling is too much, it'll worsen inflammation and related symptoms. Best to go low and slow with VNS devices.

I am not an expert on stellate ganglion block but my understanding is that they are safe and can result in fairly long lasting (months) reductions in pain
