Biofuels Lab - KU School of Engineering - Graduate Open House

The Biofuels Lab in KU’s Chemical & Petroleum Engineering Department is a place where students can perform research in production, characterization and testing of alternative fuels. The lab has a wide variety of reactors and equipment that can be used to produce fuels and also understand material properties, composition, and structure. Current research projects are focused on the conversion of different types of waste biomass into higher-value products.
