When George came out it changed nothing for his female fans in perspective of how we felt about him sexually. So much so I used to question if it was really true. He was a beautiful man rugged and handsome. Talented and gentle. His preference of relationships didn’t matter. He loved who he loved and we loved him for it❤️we miss him. I was ten years old when I was blessed to be graced with his music, now at forty seven years old nothing has changed❤️ Has far as the black and white debate goes greatness is greatness.. Stevie and Aretha confirmed what the world already saw in him. Genius Is colorblind❤️genius has no color.

Listening to George Michael explaining what he meant with the Praying for Time 's lyrics makes me look at him as a poet. Those lyrics are true poetry, their meaning, their content.... He was an extremely inteligent and sensitive man. A huge loss!

What you said is true. It's amazing to me that George said in an interview that explaining these lyrics was the biggest mistake he ever made on describing one of his songs. He said he was begged to do it and he finally agreed. He didn't like doing something like that because he wanted people to have their own interpretations of his lyrics. Yet people like us enjoyed the explanation so much and are so happy he did it.

I feel sad that I missed out on George Michael as his talent was available to explore and learn from during the 80's and later. The way he also used Black, Motown and R and B music is amazing. His voice is continually amazing to hear in terms of color, expressiveness, range and dynamics. He really articulates his process of writing and musical decisions very clearly which shows that he could also have been an incredible teacher.

Why was it so hard for the media, to understand him. He loved being an artist however, George didn't want the world and the media. To see him as celebrity twenty-fours hours a day. I get it. I love music and singing however, i didn't want all the other stuff that came with it all day and all night. Just for the few hours, that i wanted to entertain the crowd. When i was, done i wanted my regular life back and i felt George felt that way too! Love him still. It seems these are the ones that pays the heavy price of doing what they love.

I am a straight female and it never bothered me to know George was gay. His voice was beautiful and so was his face and his personality . He also had a kind way about him. His sexual preferences had nothing to do with who he really was. That was one part of his life but there was so much more to his life.
