Biography of Gautamiputra Satakarni, The destroyer of Pride of Kshatriyas

Gautamiputra Satakarni was an emperor & a great military commander of the Satavahana Dynasty in the present-day Deccan region of India, during whose rule the Satavahanas reached the greatest extent of their empire.
He consolidated his rule within a few years of his accession and resolved to free the country of foreign domination of Western Kshatrapas.

गौतमीपुत्र सातकर्णी खुद क्षत्रिय मराठा थे तो वह क्षत्रिय का विध्वंस क्यों करेंगे उनकी लढाई विदेशी शको के साथ हुई थी और यह शक खुद को क्षत्रप कहते थे तो गौतमीपुत्र सातकर्णीने क्षत्रप कुल विध्वंसक यह उपाधी धारण की थी ना के क्षत्रिय

सातवाहन वंश श्रृंगी ऋषि वंशज है श्रृंगी ऋषि की पत्नी राजा दशरथ की पुत्री थी उन्होंने अपनी पुत्री अपने पुत्र लोमpat अंग देश के राजा गोद में दिया था अंग देश के राजा के पास श्रृंगी ऋषि के पुत्र ननिहाल में रहने के कारण माता को महत्व ज्यादा दिया गया इसीलिए यह वंश मातृशक्ति रहा है
