Let me correct you here : Henry Woodward, and Mathew Evans in 1874 (also Joseph Swan ) were the first who first succeeded in making carbon filament based light bulb but they were not able to commercialize it so Henry Woodward, and Mathew Evans sold their patent to Edison in 1879. What Edison did was he succeeded in organizing companies to distribute bulb. So Edison didn't invent the bulb its a lie we have been told in school. But Tesla, he is light years ahead of his time never worked for money but for the betterment of the Society. But he was a potential threat to business so he suffered too much. His dream of free energy died with him.

Nikola tesla has great vision. He discovered em wave and invented remote control system even before it was done by Marconi , and JC Maxwell . The power of thinking and imagination which would provide him the ability to realise virtually what could be done .
