There are some mistakes in your information. Bangabhanga was happened in 1905 when Rabindranath introduced Raksavandan. Before that Assam and Jarkhand was part of Bengal. In 1905, British divided resources area of Bengal in two different states - Assam and another join to Bihar which is later on called Jharkhand. Further, In 1947, British divided Bengal in two different states East and West Bengal.

27 th annual session of the Indian National Congress held at KOLAKATA 27 December 1911...in which Jana Gana Mana was sung for the first time. Pandit Bisan Narayan dar was the president. And finally 24th January 1950 it become national anthem of india. Gitanjali - "Devotion to God"

He started Raksha bandhan during bengal partition in1905 He wrote jana gana mana(national anthem) and sung in 26th INC session He won Nobel Peace Prize in 1913 for Geetanjali(a collection of 103 poems) He won knighthood in 1915 and Calcutta university degree of Doctor of literature
