actually sir syed Ahmad was a very great reformer Cuz he was working for the interest of Muslims we already knew this ..then he didn't shuffle Islam and science together but his idea was to let the Muslim know about real Islam by studying science as they will explore God created world and its phenomena ..and Muslim had set their own rules that weren't according to Islam and that is also the case with today's Muslims too as society effects and secondly the people and time influence changes ones mind by diverting the direction as u told about Muslim girls education in Islam Muslim lady like prophet wife even was a great trader (hazraat khadijah (RA) ) and she kept doing her job even after the marriage ,Muslim women like prophet aunt once killed one enemy man during the battle to defend herself and it showed women can take part ..and women in Islam r allowed to take education as in many verses it is said that to enquire knowledge it is duty of both male and female Muslim .And women can do job ...Muslim set their own ideology which was and is out of the basic of Islam still they need to know Islam much ...

People calls him the founder of 2 nation theory, but earlier, he was the prophet of Hindu - muslim unity. He even asked Muslims to stop eating beef as it can heart the sentiments of Hindu brothers. But later on, some events made him believe that this unity can never be achieved. But for what he fought during his lifetime was education and specially for Muslims as they were backward (and I think still are). He wanted his community to leave old orthodox customs and learn science and modern education. But unfortunately, he was opposed, especially by orthodox Muslims. But somehow, with the help of Britishers, he set up some educational institutes. At last, I would say we can not change past, but present is in our hands....may be he wanted the upliftment of his community, but today other communities' students are also studying in them. And I think more leaders from his community should come forward to encourage their people for education. So, stop arguing n live with peace!!❤️
