If you give someone light and heat, you give them comfort. BioLite obviously makes excellent products. Very well done review, Hatch.

We finally received ours!!! It's been a year since we first watched your video. Because we lived in Korea it couldn't be shipped. We love it. Thank you for sharing..

Nice review Hatch. I’ve been looking into that same system. Love the company and supporting them as you mentioned. I’m currently waiting on my pre-ordered FirePit. They did a crowd funding campaign last fall and should be shipping in May.

Hi Hatch, I love their products. I am curious as to what kind of mini trailer that is behind you, can you tell me the brand, I own a 2003 Honda Element which my Biolite BaseLantern XL, SolarPanel 5+, and Sitelights in my Base Camp kit will be used with. But the mini trailer is cool, can you tell me the name please so I can research it? Review was cool. Thank you.
@Hatch616 жыл бұрын
Onaquest1618 The trailer is made by Runaway Campers out of Ocala Florida. Great company, and if you KZbin it, you will have plenty of videos. Thanks for watching.

Simple question.. How do you set the language on this thing?. Nothing in the manual except setting time. I'm missing something

Is there a way to charge it before using solar? So it's ready for outrages at all times?
@Hatch61 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, they do sell a wall charger for it for $14.95 on their website.

Will the biolite solarhome 620 charge inside by a window with full sunlight? we have tried and it shows 0 solar and charge is getting smaller. all of our other solar lights will charge in a window, just not as fast.

I'm amazed that the radio is ONLY FM ! FM only travels a fraction the distance that AM can travel . This radio would be a waste in my mountainous areas , as FM is only line of sight
@firstlast-vq4xt2 жыл бұрын
Nonsense. I have ZERO line of sight to ANY FM transmitters where I live and yet lo and behold I have a ton of stations available to listen to. FM range is limited by the circular geometry of the planet; FM signals cannot travel further than the horizon, so FM transmitting antenna are placed as high up as possible, as then the horizon is much further away. You must be living on the flat version of earth. 113 views

do they give to the homeless in America also?
@shanewilliamson30554 жыл бұрын
No . They said they give to some organizations. Sucks they won’t help right down the road from them
@nameless-user4 жыл бұрын
AFAIK they don’t give to homeless anywhere. Their strategy in Africa is more about building local economies and manufacturing, using their products as a baseboard or injection for local trade. Building local markets is an essential step for any region to treat poverty long-term.
