This is absolutely incredible teaching. Your enthusiasm and pace are superb. This is the first time as a first year medical student that someone has explained ECG with context and it has given so much more meaning to it seeing it in terms of where the positive charges are over time. I have looked at this system many times, I love the way you explain this! As a nurse doing another Cardiac course this just finally made sense so I can explain to patients and hopefully understand EKG better. Boom!....I've watched half a dozen other videos to really understand why the "T" wave is (normally) positive in Lead II, when the intuition is that in "repol" it should be negative going..... you're the first that explained it so simply that it all made sense!...Thank you kindly Dr. Mike!!!

First time I’ve actually heard someone describe the depolarisation and the T wave like that. I always wondered why we get a positive deflection for the T wave and this explained it perfectly. Dr Mike is a legend, love these videos. Thank you!

I have watched several videos on this however none of them included the lead and how the direction of the charges are picked up by the lead. It added an extra layer to understand the whole process. Really great video, thank you!
