Wow, ditched all the unimportant names and went straight to the process! Understanding of the process should always be valued before spewing some random names to teach. Explained better and more efficiently than most sources.

The eggcell is always haploid and not diploid! It ends with 1 eggcell and 3 polar bodies!

In the female system, is the chance of the discarded polar body having chromosomes originating majoritively from the female’s father equal to that of having chromosomes originating from the female’s mother? Or is there a bias in the selection?

Do those haploid sperm cells still contain 23 chromosomes? Google says each sperm cell has 23 chromosomes, but you make it seem like a haploid cell has 1

Can someone explain why in the sperm cell it's still called a chromosome instead of a single chromatid? I was always under the impression 2 chromatids make up a chromosome
