Nice explanation But I don't understand the part where you said the prophase 1 completes at puberty. I thought you earlier said that the process freezes at fetal and stays like that untill puberty and the prophase 1 begins to reduce from 7 million to 300,000 Please clarify me I'm confused

Basically what happens is that the process freezes not at the fetal stage but at some point after birth or before birth and after the birth when the young female hits puberty,the prophase 1 which ceased starts again and then meiosis 2 occurs... And about the reduction of cells from 7 million to 300,000 there is no definite explanation and it's an enigmatic process.
