I don't know if this was Dylan, Cat, and/or Jim that put together this compilation of clips quotes and background visuals but kudos, major kudos. I am amazed you came up with so many themed visuals and funny quotes. This channel usually seems to highlight Danielle's talents in a very sharp and skilled way. While this didn't take away from her, it really showcased the skills behind the scenes. As someone that has built low light product photography studio in the past... you nailed that shot too. Very well done :-) -Jake

Some of the retro audio clips made statements about the intensity of light. They were immediately following statements about bioluminescence, which made them seem like they could apply in context. But I think the retro clips were not meant to convey information at all. Kinda muddied the waters a little bit. Anyway - Thanks for the episode Danielle!

Honestly kind of disappointing that you didn’t talk about how the male deep-sea angler fish, after finding a mate, will attach himself to the female and practically die, becoming a part of the female’s body and losing any ability to live on its own, effectively becoming nothing but an on-demand producer of sperm for the female’s eggs whenever she’s ready to lay them. I know it’s not the topic of the video but it feels like it would have been nice to mention.

Bioluminescence is one of my favorite things about the creatures and other life forms of our planet. There are So many fascinating things that plants and animals can do, i find myself repeatedly captivated by Tropical Reef and Deep Ocean life. Absolutely Love Bioluminescence and Biofluorescence, it's one of my all time favorite thing to learn about. David Attenborough made a lovely documentary about it called Life That Glows atleast I'm pretty sure that's what it was called, it covers everything from bugs to plants, fungus, sea life, microscopic life and it's about an hour long. Pretty sure I found it on KZbin at some point, really worth checking out 😄👍

Danielle..I think the Royal Ontario Museum could be enhanced by using some screens with AronRa's Phylogeny Explorer Project (when complete) for it's biologic exhibits. He would profit because the team really wants the input because that is the scientific process. I think it could be a great collaboration without specific costs to either party.
