I wish they would build a plant like this near where I live. It would be so much better than just burning slash piles like they normally do.

@@rlguerrero2263 I live in northern British Columbia, Canada. And since I wrote this comment they actually have built a biomass plant nearby.

But what happens to the ashes? You should bring it back to the forest. There are lots of nutrients inside.

You got it! I have sent to analysis a soil sample from a Eucalyptus farm, and it was totally depleted. Since what we use from wood is not it's mineral content, the ashes should be spread back on the forest. That would mean a real sustainable energy source. By the way, here on tropics, an hectare of Eucalyptus can harvest something between 15 and 30 kW/h per year, carbon negative with plenty of soil biodiversity.

Monocultures, no biodiversity, flora and fauna don't give a hoot about human esthetics. Dirty energy, through and through.

Who told you that? Had you being inside a so called "monoculture"? If is there no biodiversity why you have to care for not being byte by a predator like a rattlesnake?
