After playing Cyberpunk 2077 (and the new show on Netflix) I would sacrifice my organic arms to get the bionic gorilla arms. Looks like we have come a long way but still have ways to go before we reach that point :( As far as this goes I think it's awesome they are making strides in prosthetic arm development for the people who need it. I wish it was within everyone's price range so anyone who needs it can have access but that's just the world we live in right now.

@Phantom Slayer Yup. It's the United States. Of course it's going to be priced outrageously. Health/medical care in this country is a joke (and we have a lower life expectancy than some "3rd world" countries tho we pay the most). I'm literally fighting a $867 charge right now for a blood draw that my insurance didn't cover. "U-S-A ✊🏼"

i have a plexus brachilalis deffect from birt accident.. in my left arm.. almost no attention is given to this because its a low number per year of folks being born with it or get it in later life deu to an accident or something and everyon's case is different. some can healfrom it or work with it and train it to strenghten their muscles or have nervetreatement but thats expensive..in my case it just bothers me asteticaly..i feel with how i look i can perseu any of my dreams..actin modeling..u name it..i have bood handmovement left but i just wish i had a whole new better functioning and looking arm.

I am a bilateral at-the-wrist amputee. Is this really a “thing” that’s available. I have a set of I-Limb Quantums, but my body powered (Hosmer hooks) far outperform them. If these are truly the advancement they seem, with some degree of neural control, how come I haven’t heard about them?

The cost is a LOT more than most people could afford. Some experimental hi-tech limbs can cost $400,000 (or more) that includes a "touch" feature. That probably doesn't include the cost to implant the device or the training to use it.

I do like the voice, lends great credibility. Otherwise not so sure that us regular body powered arm users (the ones of us that have good builds, that is) always have to visually check/look. But it's advertising alright.
