My guess is they were probably in a rush to localize the game and release it onto store shelves, and forgot to change the scene where Hitler's head blows up

Surprised Nintendo let it slide. They required you send a full playthrough of the game on VHS to them so they could give it the stamp of approval so they’d have to have seen Hitler fucking explode in the finale.
