I think people are a little too cynical about Orianthi. She and Richie are helping each other. She is not just a technician, she can play some great licks that rank with some of my favourite. In my youth and rock and roll, she would have been treated with a lot more respect and appreciation than now. You can't play the guitar like that! It is as good as it gets. go back and listen to Clapton, Page, Martin Barre, Hendrix we all have our favourites. I think she pulls off the trampy look and speaks through the guitar. The hat is a good signature. Maybe they can press a record for the turntable.

MAD Respect for Richie.. he's doing his thing... he's always love music.. and he's doing what he wants to do.. i personally will never see Bon Jovi the band Live again without richie which is sad since i've seen them every year since 1984 in cali. the sad thing is PhilX is a good friend of mine and i am so happy he has this opportunity but for me only one guitar player can be on that stage.. so for me bon jovi the band retired when richie moved on.. i will gladly go see Phil in anything he does .. i would love to see Jon do his own thing solo and well i will see richie as many times as i can.. he is and will forever be the true talent of BON JOVI.. a master songwriter and one hell of a songwriting guitar player.. he's no guitar hero but he's written some of the most memorable guitar riffs and solos. i wish him nothing but the best i hope he gets / stays healthy.. and more than anything i hope all true BJ fans will give him his due respect and support on his new musical journey... i love his last album and i'm sure what he's doing with Ori will be good maybe great but hey (nowadays) good is not a bad thing. props to Richie for leaving the comfortable life for a more personally rewarding musical life. it's all about the soul. when it comes to music. can you believe i missed this show as i was heading for another show at namm to hear a phone call come in and inform me that richie had just hit the stage i was already committed to the other event. so i missed this one.. thank you for whoever taped this I'm happy as can be to be rocking this right now. and maybe one day on the BJ fear well tour i will see him join forces with his other half Jon. till then i will enjoy the amazing shows i've been blessed to see with the Real Bon Jovi. Keep rocking Richie..

There are plenty of interviews you can find on the web where he's saying that. "I needed time for my daughter" was just an excuse - what did he do after quitting? Going on a solo-tour! When he left the band, I was pretty angry about Jon (Bon Jovi is the first-ever reason I wanted to study music and become a musician as well, so they got a huge impact on me), because he went on touring, like nothing happened, and I thought he was just after the money. But: David and Tico would have never played with Jon if he had fired Richie! All 3 of them have been hurt because a friend was gone. And now, after the latest BJ-record and the tons of interviews that Jon, David and Tico gave, it's obvious that it's not them to blame. Or Jon. Richie left for no reason and they had bills to pay.
