Hey everyone! We are excited to finally unveil the music of Bionicle: Quest for Mata Nui! To celebrate this, for the entire upcoming week, we will be revealing a new track every day from our soundtrack, starting today. An additional bonus track will be released next monday, resulting in a total of 8 tracks that you will get to listen to. If you think of it, it's an unique setting Bionicle uses. Robot-like creatures with magic powers and nature elements in tribal era. I don't sure I've seen anything like this.

un, i don't think they technically gave the go-ahead. i think it's more like they don't care about fan-projects because ... well, Lego's all about imagination- that's pretty much the whole message of the first movie.

Now I'm imagining Matoro singing something like an Arabic prayer song, echoing through the halls of the Inner Sanctum - with Nuju doing Bushman clicks and whistles as a subtle percussive background, driving the beat. Call it "Song of Knowledge." ... Though maybe it would be too racially insensitive to just mash those two cultures together without really understanding them. 😑

I also want to see Matoro by Nuju's side translating the Turaga's Rahi speech (while I love the old Bionicle game for Xbox, it was disappointing when Nuju spoke in Matoran and Matoro was nowhere in sight).

@@philippaul6039 Yeah, I understand. I don't know how they'll use this main theme. Like, will it just play during the Title Menu? Will they use less intense light motifs for various purposes? Who knows. We do know they have a number of different tracks, and I'm excited to hear those. But yeah, I think it depends on how they purpose the main theme. It may be a but much now, but it may be perfect with context.

Man this fits so well. Got me thinking about how original Halo & Bionicle has the same feel and how they both have musical tones that inspire awe, mystery, but also triumph (and then of course there's always that sweet electric guitar for the mechanical. element). Then I realised the entire reason I got into Halo in the first place is because of its similarities to Bionicle... And not the other way around.

Great soundtrack! My favorite so far is still the soundtrack from the first trailer. Different topic: please add a gameplay option for toa to incapacitate rahi at the end of combat (without killing them), and then remove their infected masks. That would be more lore-friendly than simply demolishing them.

I'd say a lot of the mysterious atmosphere in the Mata Nui Online Game came from the way that Templar Studios utilised isolation; a lot of the time when you run into the more mysterious areas of Mata Nui you're completely alone which means there's less distractions which gives you more of a reason to soak in the mystery surrounding whatever mysterious object you're looking at (such as the telescope and the stones on top of that cliff near the beach, or even just Tahu's canister).

Bionicle is extremely close to my heart and I can't wait to experience the game whenever it becomes playable. I am currently going through a kinda harsh phase. I had to cancel my driving lessons that everyone pressured me with as I wasn't making good process. The reason I had so many problems with it and I had to cancel my lessons is a rare, uncurable eye condition I was recently being diagnosed with and there are few doctors in my country who are specialized for therapy. School is making trouble bc of the pandemic and there are many problems stressing me out atm. Then this shows up in my recommendations and I am absolutely happy it did . Bionicle was a huge part of my and many others childhoods. I was so sad when I noticed that the direction the regime was going would be so different. Then they stopped releasing collections for about 5 years, and the following models just weren't the same with the hero factory parts (the hero factory system wasn't bad at all! It just wasn't the same as it used to be...). I have the little hope that maybe, if this game of yours which looks absolutely stunning is successful, just maybe lego decides to release a new series in old school style. I am also absolutely emphasized by this music and I'm sure many many people agree with it. From what I've seen I can say you did an amazing job and I'm really looking forward to playing this game!
