Praying for you! I know all about having to switch providers and advocating for myself. I went to my eye doctor and told him something was wrong with my eye a few months after cataract surgery. He told me nothing was wrong that he could see. I went back a few more times because my symptoms were getting worse. Still nothing. Went to another eye doctor and he took one look at my eye and said I had retinal detachment. Said that if I had waited any longer I would have went blind in that eye. But get this that was my only seeing eye because my other eye is amblyopic. So I would have been blind all together. Scary.

It's unfortunate when you have to become a harsher advocate for yourself because some people in the medical field don't do what they should be. I'm glad that you're proactive and assertive. I'll keep you in my prayers.
