Is a larger spherical aquarium for sale? One, for example, of 200 or 300 liters? Who has an answer?"

Thanak so much for the video. Are you still running this tank? Be great to hear your experience over the years you've had it - what's worked, what hasn't... 👊🏼✌🏼

David Perrin hi in this video there are neon tetras and black tetras. There is also a otocinclus great for eating the algae off plants.

Excellent video, inspiring.... I once had the 60l biorb with my favourite fish Congo tetras but would def. look for a 105l and follow your lead with an internal filter 👍🏻

What light did you swap out for? I’m setting one of these up Sunday. I think I have the filter system sorted out to make it better and good for plants but I need to know how to modify the light.

Where did you put the internal filter
@KerryScottCooke74023 жыл бұрын
Hello great video. How did you put in a filter? You mention it but it isn’t visible. Thanks.

Any chance of knowing how you attached the recommended filter as I don't really know how it would be attached to the side of the orb ?

Have u ever had a problem using the rocks and then adding soil on top
@jdaquatics2475 жыл бұрын
Kaymon hi thank you for commenting. I kept the rocks because they still had all the great bacteria from when the tank had been emptied the day before I setup. Regarding the the filter I just added a small internal one you can see in the video. Will add the make and model in the description

JD Aquatics thanks so much I’ve had my biorb for over a year and as much as I love it and how great it looks it gets so dirty fast as there is no filter as such so I’ve been looking to do the same thing and this is the best video I’ve found yet

I'm getting 60L Biorb for my birthday in couple of weeks and I'm doing the research. I already have 5 tanks with (1 betta in each tank) each with natural eco system. I hear bad thing about Biorb's filter. I will do exactly your instructions and hopefully I will be successful 🙏

Rumi good luck ive had no problems with mine apart from some hair algae at first. Pick large plants because when ots up and mature you would need to nearly empty the tank to reach any maintenance at the bottom

I jut got my classic 60. It's extremely overwhelming..😞 I'm going to follow your instructions. Over the filter, you just cover it with the gravel that came with it? Also, I do want to remove the air pump pipe that goes vertically.. It's not pretty. How did you cap the air pipe? I'm worried about leak..😞 any suggestions, advice is appreciated

Also, what size plug did you get and from where?

Rumi hi great to hear you got your biorb. On mine i left a small piece of airline still attached and put a one way value on the end.

Hi your tank looks great i currently have a 60 and looking at a 105 I have some plants and driftwood and don’t think i have enough space for practically cleaning properly and easy…my question for you is do you find you have a good bit more floor space in the 105?
@candyclegg2 жыл бұрын
Wow love it , are you using a different filter?
@tisun61934 жыл бұрын
Great video. I'm about to get 1 next week. Can I use the biorb original filter or have to buy another one separately? I want to build one similar to you
@steves19704 жыл бұрын
I've just bought a 60 ltd orb....does it have to be completely emptied every time the filter needs cleaning? Also, how can s heater be fitted properly or are bio orbs better suited to cold water fish?

Hi did you have to level this before putting onto laminate floor? I am considering this tank but my floors arent that even and I dont know it would be safe to try and level acrylic
@njbaquatics48273 жыл бұрын
Trying to get my hands on one of these like you I want a secondhand one. Around here they’re known as the ball of death. I think the reason is that because it’s quite a unique looking thank new bees tend to be drawn to them. And because of the obvious under powered filtration system and the lack of maintenance they turn into a bowl of green slime And dead fish. But I think I’ve come up with a plan to make them extremely user-friendly with a slow-moving plenum she alteration system once matured it will be low maintenance and a very healthy environment so make sure you keep us updated with this one very interested I know this is a year old so I’d be interested to see how you’ve got on over the last 12 months. 👍
