It was an emotional ride for Porter, the rush of memories coming back to him. In the last part when he approached the shrine to Pearl and we see the rush of his memories, Pearl’s picture, their wedding, a picture of them in London, ending with Pearl’s grave. Charles Milton Porter lived through the Blitz and the Fall of Rapture. He became an Alpha Series, but placed in cold storage until he was revived. He defeated his old partner, retrieved the Thinker’s code as well as his memories and returned to the surface.
