Hey Adam I just beat the original BioShock for PS3 on survivor difficulty without vita chambers. strats for Fontaine: 1:I used telekinesis to throw explosive drums and propane tanks 2:I used heat seeking rockets, proximity mines & grenades from the grenade launcher 3:I used Trap rivets from the crossbow Result: Fontaine beaten! Today I put in 7 hours just to finish the remainder of BioShock on survivor difficulty off. Overall it took me 4 days to beat on its hardest difficulty just like 1999 mode. Survivor mode took me overall : 7 hours today on grand finale Day 4 8 hours yesterday Day 3 3 hours day Before Day 2 6 hours on Day 1 beginning Took at least 24 hours to beat this mode across 4 day's THERE WERE ABSOLUTELY NO EXPLOITS IT WAS ALL COMPLETED LEGIT USING THE DIGITAL VERSION. Favourite plasmid: Enrage

I played this game my very first time on Survivor with no vita's cause I wanted the plat in one playthrough, and it was one of the most rewarding gaming experiences ever. If you're glitching or going on NG+ for the platinum, you're robbing yourself of a frustrating yet wonderful experience. Now, on to Bioshock 2....

Bioshock collection was free this month. And normally how I platinum games is, after I do the story once and just have my clean up playthrough, I’ll put on some KZbin videos and relax. I was watching a lot of bioshock lore videos and this showed up randomly. I clicked on it out of curiosity because I always love to hear other trophy hunters talk about their experience and various games. And now, only about a couple days after finishing bioshock 1, I’ve binged almost all your videos and subbed. Shits awesome man, keep it up!

Difficulties hardest to least: Dead space: impossible mode is very difficult and it can be quite challenging and even frustrating at times. Bioshock: survivor mode Uncharted drakes fortune: crushing mode Impossible took me over 1 week to finish Survivor took me 4 days (same as 1999 mode run) Crushing took me 4 days

There are a couple of spots in the Med Pavilion that the Big Daddy can't reach you and you can unload on him without getting hit. I got my platinum by not engaging the BDs until after I got the crossbow and then used the bathysphere to return to the previous areas to then engage with most of my weapons and my damage bonus from researching the BDs. I did play a game on survivor and beat the BDs as I found them eventually.

I did exactly this. Decided for the Remaster I would go for the Platinum in one run and oh boy was it a doozy. Between the savefile glitch at Fort Frolic to being meticulous in finding all collectibles. All in all, a great experience to behold.

I only played a few hours of Demon Souls and skipped Dark Souls. I didn't really like them, but Bloodborne interests me. Seems to have a faster pace.

Adam McDermott To be completley honest. they never truly appealed to me at first. Not until I played Bloodborne did I fully embrace the gameplay. The harsh uphill battle these games throw at you become so much more engaging when you have realize its a chess match of positioning, parrying, and aggression. Demon Souls is the game I ventured into last. So maybe playthrough Bloodborne first. I promise you these games have so much merit in overall experience. I wont say I never experienced frustration. There is a learning curve as well. Such as Armor Debuffs and weight of equiptment changing the speed of your character. Smart level design as well as intricate shortcuts to The boss. acquiring all trophies is a mountain to climb but I implore you to try these games

Just use the telekinesis and decoy plasmids. Upgrade the shotty, nade launcher, and crossbow. Use crossbow and antipersonelle rounds on non big daddies. Throw 6 proxy mines at a big daddy at once. Use electric buck and decoy for the rest of their health. Then just progress to the end

You're a goddamn madman for trying all these things in one run. I remember that some of them busted my balls quite unpleasantly when I got the platinum. I was going for the platinum just the other day and I ended up sad. I grabbed all the audio diaries, quadruple checked to make sure I had all of them, but historian won't show up. I also took pictures and finished the research of everything but didn't get either trophy for those. Those are literally all I need.

You can do this in one playthrough on easy! When you reach the final boss after you stab him for the last time a white flash will happen,pause the game switch game to survivor and turn of chamber's and the trophy will pop ..this worked for me on the remastered collection 👍

I felt that moment of shock man. I'm a somewhat new trophy collector and it happened to me on horizon zero dawn almost half way through. Also Coincedintly it happened to me on Bioshock 1 same as you but it was for me missing that I needed to have vita chamber on. That taught me to look at PSN Profiles for missable stuff. Also happened to me on Jack 2 & 3 with buggy orb rewards of side challenges annoying as fuck when it happens. Takes the spirit of getting platinum away

Once again I come to you when i am close to obtaining a platinum(never played bioshock 1 easily 9/10, way better then infinite when i played it 2 years ago) All i got left in my beginning new game plus are 1-craft 100 items 2- little sister savor 3- fully research everything 4-Beat the game without using vita chamber on survival/ and the hard variant 5- fully upgrade 5 weapons( i missed one upgrade machine in my blind run)

Aspect ratio 4:3, no option to turn off the music so anytime I use live gameplay, I can't overlay music of my own to a scene. Makes editing around it tricky. I have up until just after the first gym edited and the runtime is 10 minutes. It is looking like a mighty long video. I'll keep tipping away on it when I can but it will be a while before it is finished.

The first blind one, a second time on new game plus to win it without the vita chambers and a third time cause didn't know about Sander Cohen quarters It was pretty cool to watch getting each and every one of the in just one run

Late to the comments but you can completely cheese the harder trophies, if you play the game on normal without the chambers get to the very last cut scene where you can pause the game, change the difficulty to the highest and you get the trophies. But i like a challenge 😉

I had the exact same experience on my no vita chamber run but sadly I only found out when I got to the end of the game. I did eventually go back and do it again but it was annoying🥲

I will attempt to 100% Bioshock this weekend. Have 2 achievements left (hardest difficulty and not using a vita chamber) I've left it 5 years to return to finish it up!. tbh I always thought Bioshock 2 was a better game, no matter if most people don't agree with me

I 100% this game recently on Xbox One, and for the difficulty related achievements you can just play the game to the end on easy and than switch it to the hardest difficulty before the last cutscene and you’ll get the achievements/trophies. Is this the intended way to do it? No. But I’ve done my hours of frustration and anger when getting other achievements (Cod waw on veteran, flappy goat) so when I find a game where I can cheese a potentially infuriating achievement, I’ll do so in a heartbeat.
