An absolutely fascinating place to visit. I consider it a must-see kind of destination for visitors to Tucson. I've been there 6 times throughout my many years living here and I learn something new every time I go--no kidding. 👍🤩

I've heard that due to Covid that the rainforest portion of the tour was significantly shortened. If true, has that been opened up fully again?

Is this where the 1996 movie "biodome" was filmed?
@TucsonArizona9 ай бұрын
No but it could have been! 😂 it is very loosely based on that scientific experiment
@brynsaltmashe4810 Жыл бұрын
Does it completely create its own oxygen now ?
@TucsonArizona Жыл бұрын
I don’t think so… it’s not completely enclosed anymore. It’s more of an experiment for the university.

You've never seen the movie Biosphere with Pauly Shore? It's a must. Such an educational movie. I learned more about science in that movie than actually attending science class in a Ivy league college. I highly suggest you watch it. 😉

A very silly movie- and so realistic!!! 😂

@WildlifeWarrior-cr1kk you sound like his two gf that didn't give them a chance cuz all you saw was the outside partying. Just give a try or two. It's definitely an acquired tatste. Maybe even. More than one time. Took my 3 times for sushi! I learned about that place in school magazines and Reading Rainbow with Burt Levar from Star Trek. So you know it's scientific legit. It had it's own botanical area with fish, sharks, and crocodile 🐊. Now is that a Biodome or what? They wanted to save the world. But the statis was far to messed up amd had to fix it soon before all hell broke lose amd they did. Thanks to those two hot doctors girl which never will look like that ever again lmao. But the thought was there. Anywhoo, they ended up cleaning it all up to get a perfect 100% crystatis after all for a long and preservative society living off beaners and Sweet and Sour food from that Asian girls food. And survived for the last day until crazy doc had a coconut 🥥 bomb that almost exploded if Mr. Yakishakma didn't put his whole body on hit and save the movie as well in real life eses. We got this holmes. 😎
