Thank you for allowing us to continue doing good with our platform and with Seek Discomfort. I know brands always say "We're in this together!" type of stuff but we do genuinely feel a responsibility towards the community to shine a light on positive stories and create a ripple effect of change in whatever capacity we can. So we're excited you're along for the ride and so curious to see where the rest of the year can take us :)

@@sexntuna you can tell when people have good intentions. the way this channel is run - their intentions are good. they didn't use this video to profit off of a story, they did it to uplift one individual to share hers with us. the amount of crediting they do to strangers in their videos is a good indicator of this. i agree that when you have a monetized video thats edited, pure is just a storyline. but they're still doing something good for the sake of doing good. there's plenty of other things that can make money. im glad there are people who decided to make money by sharing it. i dont see an ethical issue with it in such an unethical world. gotta take what we get sometimes ya know?

Let's a take a moment to remember that 5 years ago, these guys were crashing at someone's sofa in Montreal, that's how broke they were. Just some random guys who met during uni. Any of us can achieve that (or anything else), and that's a fact because Yes Theory is living proof that it is possible.

With 3D Glass printing heads you could even build-in windows using the second printing head that melts/fuses glass together to create translucent windows or fully clear ones if the 3D glass printing head can achieve a high enough heat and compression factor! It's an idea to think about! V

symphony's story got me. i was experiencing something just like she was just a few years ago, right before covid hit, in the middle of my high school career. my brother had moved out, and when my mom lost the apartment, my sister decided to stay with her friend for months. it was just me and my mom, whom i don't have the greatest relationship with, living in motels, friends' basements, homeless shelters, and finally a group home where we were finally able to get our feet under us and my sister came back. it was really hard, not knowing if i'd have a place to sleep safely each night; even the homeless shelter was dangerous. back then, if it wasn't for my friends, and especially my new significant other (we're past 3 years now!), i would've cracked. they held me together. i feel such a connection to her, especially as another artist starting my college career and trying to find a more stable place to live with my partner. i hope she's doing wonderfully.

@I am Me Thank you! I saw this girl on TV and she soooo deserved everything. She is the bravest and bestest wittle person ever!!!!!!! --- Disgusting isn't it. Zero facts known and think some girl in one of the best colleges in the world is somehow more deserving than the child who grew up molested, never having a home, beaten by foster parents and still made it out somehow. Or how about Jihyun Park and her life inside North Korea, I'm sure it was nothing but cakes, rose petals and fancy baths, certainly nothing as bad as this girl who will change the world with crayons, lol.

I dont think its just for the cameras. These people a legit kind helpful encouraging and they lead by a good example. When she started crying i felt her pain i liked her ending statement on how she isnt the only one to have gone through it and others have similar circumstances. Being a man and goong through foster care and the turning 18 it was tough not knowing what to do and not being prepared for life ahead. I slept outside plenty of times. I slept in a shopping cart in a apartment complexes work shed during the winter. Looking back i shoulda started a fire in trash can.

Covid destroyed my life.. I lost my job.. lost someone close to me.. lost my apartment as the the unemployment in my state was a mess... I caught Covid.. nearly died. Went from hospital after a 40 day stay straight to the streets.. literally. I never got my unemployment due to red tape. Gave up on it and then gave up on my life...Started sleeping on the streets ..for nearly a year. I detached from the world, cause it detached from me. I'm 51 with a B.A. and am houseless. . I'm trying to rebuild my life but I'm scared as hell. I am staying in transitional housing Also trying to cope with the depression that has been smothering me since this all began. And trying to figure out a way to get some health issues that have popped up from having the OG Covid-19(I call it OG cause it was the worst to get) I don't know how long I have here at this place as I do not have, nor do I want, any government money. Pride. But I freelance when I can. I don't beg, never panhandled(would suck at it anyway) and also trying to put together a podcast series about COVID and how it destroyed people's lives. But I have no funding(except for my mini gigs ..10 here 20 there etc) nor living family to help. SO yeah, trying to put my life back together. At 51. Perhaps I shouldn't dream to accomplish this.. Maybe its too late at 51. That weighs heavy on my head....The struggle is very real(those who know-know) I do not say these things for anyone's pity. I say these things because it is real. People move so fast in their lives these days, as everyone is trying to catch up on almost two years of standing still. With that hustle and grind, trying to fit 27 hours into a 24 hour day, people sometimes pass by, or don't see those that have been devastated. People, good people, like her(I try to be good so me too I guess) lost everything to circumstances beyond their control. A series of unfortunate events. A Perfect Storm. It can happen to anyone, at any time. When you hit the bottom and look up, that is when you see it all. Some give in to the weight of what they see. And those that don't give in and try to keep looking up, have a hell of a time finding anything to hold onto as they try to climb. There truly is no net. The struggle is real. So yeah I can totally understand what she felt and feeling in this video, times ten. I hope she is doing better this being a year old. I have hope for everyone who has suffered loss to whatever reason that places them on the street. I no longer have the phrase "to judge" in my vocabulary. Because I have seen good people be broken. No matter how hard they may have tried they just couldn't be put back together. Then give up and turn to drugs or alcohol to hold them together. Only barely just hold together.. It's very true that you should NEVER judge a person by their appearance or actions. You never know what put them there. And if it was you, could you have done better? She has the whole world ahead of her. I wish her the best in life.

Symphony is a beautiful soul and that's plain to see. You can tell she's genuine and every person that is privileged enough to spend time with her is immediately richer and money can't buy that kind of wealth. Beautiful person and so sweet
