I downloaded the demo and even though I enabled MPE from the settings, there is no MPE behavior when using Seaboard 2 inside Cubase 14 Pro (Win 11). Myth on the other hand is working perfectly in MPE mode on the same machine. Is it a bug or there are other settings to be modified inside Biotek 3? Btw, the Osmose/Seaboard mappings on the main screen of Myth are awesome - please implement it in all your synths! Cheers!

A quick and easy way to make a sound respond to MPE is to activate MPE on the Sources 2 page and use the controls “Press To X” and “Timbre To Y” to adjust the modulation depth of pressure and vertical movements as set up for the XY Pad. This should give you some meaningful modulations. For finer control assign the modulation sources “Ch Press” and “Timbre” to any number of parameters you like.

Any news on CPU optimization? Honestly looks like a UI overall and that’s pretty much it… 2 is damn near perfect, so not really sure this was even necessary for the customer. Not a fan of the purple at all. I’m trying to work and not be distracted. An option for simple tones like in 2 should be available imo.

CPU performance was massively optimised. I created this audio demo with over 50 instances of BioTek 3 and the CPU was hovering around 20%. With BT2 that would have been a struggle (on my machine at least). Once you enter the new Edit page you'll find a lot less purple, I personally love it and find composing with BT3 far less distracting 😀

WOW!!! That big of a difference. I wonder why (unless I’m blind and somehow missed it) this cpu optimization isn’t the top listed feature. Sounds exciting, alright… I’m sold. I assume this installs seperately and will leave version 2 alone 100%, correct? So I’d have both 2 and 3 installed individually…?…

@@ghfjfghjasdfasdf It's listed on the product page but you're right, its not up top. Its a bit of a tricky one to measure and market. And yes, both BT2 and BT3 can live and work on the same machine. Expansion packs are also compatible in both. Give the demo a try, we just extended it to 30-days

Sorry but i believe this way of marketing a product is just...not it. We get it, kids get blown away by the new generative renders but you forgot the elementary here...showing the actual product. If people want to see nice generative images there are plenty of places for that. It just reminded me of 8DIO who also lack a real artist and got their website full of these damaged generative renders which just do not project the image of a serious company but a shortcut to get there cheaper and just make me wanna stay away. For someone new to biotek...i haven't seen anything or understood what this thing is...how could i buy it based on that? 🤷‍♂️ Just some constructive feedback i hope it will help in the future. Just an FYI, this is not the only video available for the synth - if you head to the website, there is also a patch demo and a walkthrough of how to create a sound from scratch - so between all 3, you can get a good feel for the synth. And as other folk have mentioned, there is an unlimited 30 day free trial so you can explore in the comfort of your home. Hope you enjoy :)

We appreciate the feedback but this is simply a demo track made entirely with BioTek 3. There are other videos and web pages should you want information on the synth. The visuals are there to support the music, provide some basic info and inject a bit of fun.. this is a creative industry after all 😀
