indeed.... and is it more a workflow update, than an engine update (yes they say it is optimized, but i don't really care, because Biotek 2 was already quite optimized, or i never noticed any problems...), strange, a bit strange.... the workflow of Biotek 2 could be better, this seems better... but i am used to it now... problably gonna buy it, because well, i like Biotek.

I’m feeling the same way… honestly I could wait for 4, if they’re going to add anything new (it has enough already imho) and possibly optimize it even further. 2 is dreamy imo, not really sure it needed another iteration.

@@ghfjfghjasdfasdf Its missing an additive engine (either wavetable, spectral, or pure additive)...that's what people are holding against it based on the other super synths/workstations...but I personally dont need an additive engine...what it really needs is a full pcm implementation like users have requested since v1...you need it to take full advantage of the event trigger engine that it was pioneering in...avenger and synthmaster got both this year and are selling for the same sale price

I learned last night that 3 has actually been optimized bigtime, so I retract my initial trepidation towards it. Fair enough for your concerns, but I’m not the least bit interested in any of that.

I noticed that as well… perhaps they’ve still got some kinks to patch? Biotek 2 runs like butter on my machine so I’d expect similar performance with 3. We shall see in due time.

Haha - Please forgive the screen capture quality/frame rate in this one, it has nothing to do with BioTek 3 performance :) I've made sure that the next 'how to' video will be of better quality
