Pure Pleasure for Body and Soul: The BIOTOP Natural Pool.
The sustainable use of the precious resource water has been a concern to BIOTOP since its establishment 30 years ago. Natural Pools provide crystal clear water without any use of chemicals. The natural pool, which is the image of a natural lake, provides a living space for people, animals and plants and creates the incomparable feeling of swimming in natural water.

It's a giant aquarium. All the principles that apply to an aquarium apply to these ponds/pools. Learn how the ecosystem of an aquarium works and you know how these ponds/pools work. It's the very same principle.

Yeah I found that video right after posting this comment, but it really doesn't go into the reason. I do live in the country and I have a pond. I know that they like still water for breeding but how fast does it need to be circulating. To me it doesn't seem like enough. Making it friendly for their predators and planting lavender and lemongrass (I think that's what produces citronella oil). I was curious/made a joke, I looked into it, I appreciate the help but it is no longer required
