Appreciate Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you considered - Franaar Painless Smile Formula (probably on Google)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for crushing your snoring or sleep apnea problem without the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my friend Sam after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.

Why CPAP is not able to increase TIDAL VOLIUME directly? It seems that CPAP can extend the lungs and increases FRC. Maybe the reason is that during expirium the patients have to overcome the High pressure of CPAP? Is this the reason why it doesn't able to ventilate (affect TV)? The air remains stuck in the lungs. In BPAP the patient deals with lower pressure during expirium. Is there something else that pressure support above peep does?

As a copd pt/nurse this was very informative a ND helped with some confusion. However, I am to the point bipap no longer works to lower. My C02. Your noninvasive explanation was a little vague
@sugheekong6680 Жыл бұрын
Could you clarify something for me? For CPAP, it only delivered when patient is breathing spontaneously. So means if the machine detected patient is using own effort to breathing, then the machine will not assist in providing breathing, right? But for BiPAP, despite machine detected patient is breathing, but the machine will still provide pressure to assist in breathing, right?

I dont understand why ipap helps you with ventilation when at that point you Are breathing in(shouldnt it not help you with the oxyganation?) and epap is when you breath out (isnt it more logical that increasing epap is better for the ventilation?) plz help

Hello, I could use some insight as to what a setting for an ALS patient would look like. Still non-intubated at this stage. BiPAP would be contra indicated for unmanageable secretions, which ALS often have. But CPAP is contra indicated for respiratory muscle fatigue. (Also ALS problem) as to not exhaust the diaphragm. Patient has sleep apnea, but pSO2 during daytime is in the 95-98% range. Any suggestions for settings are welcome.

very nice work keep up the excellent work. i have 1 Q and 1 request please 1. could you please demonstrate a case scenario and how initial settings on a machine or simulation? it would be really helpful? 2. In using BPAP in acute COPD exacerbation, when i set the FiO2, shall I set it on 100% despite the hypercapnea or start at lower levels of 24-28% to avoid depressing the respiratory drive as the case with simple oxygen delivery devices?
