I met a homeless man my age at a gas station. I asked him if hes hungry and he said he just wants some change. I said you can pick out something to eat and I will get you change. He got a cold drink and chicken. I paid for it and gave him money. I left him that day thinking I should have got to know him and see if there was anything more he needs that I could help with. I found him again today. I sat with him on the street and got to know him. I took him to buy a phone and some clothes. Hes a painter so I'm going to help him get a job where I work. Once he gets a job then he can afford a place to stay. Things should work out well for him now. He was very appreciative and said what I did for him was a huge help. It feels good to help others. There was a struggling mother who cut my hair recently that her hair clippers broke and she cant afford new ones. She can now only cut women's hair with scissors when the majority of clients are men. I bought her some of the best hair clippers so she can keep working for her family. She wasnt working today so I have to find her another day.

WM Jett Maybe there are? They just don’t make videos...for instance, I just gave a poor man a used car of mine. He is using it to get to jobs now and has bought a truck for his work. It felt amazing to be able to help a good fellow and his family. It was only worth about 400-500 dollars to me, but his car had died.

Same in the UK, they are many white privileged people that are also homeless that had nothing to do with drug abuse. Bad luck is coloured blind and happens to many unfortunate people. There are so many homeless in S.A., Los Angeles is looking the same, there are tents everywhere people setting up tents in residential neighborhoods everywhere and I am not exaggerating!! there's a store out here called Retail Rebel, they buy any kind of random surplus they can - from food to clothes to anything in between - and pricing works on a day schedule (new stuff is put in and its 7 bucks an item, until the last day when its all 1 dollar).. I went in on a 2$ day and there was this lady with her kid about to get in line that tossed some shoes back... i notice them counting their items so i just kinda listen and i hear him count what woulda been like 18 bucks worth of stuff i just walked up and said hey id like to pay for your stuff today handed her a 20 said have a good one and then walked away. I love catching people off guard like that. I keep buying toys and stuff to keep in the back seat i can give to any random family i happen to see. a little 1$ ball can light up a whole families faces. I've started calling it "santas summer squad" lol
