your bell calc was not wrong btw but people have a misconception on how bell prog works. bell prog is gained from gripping duke but a lot of bell prog is also received by fighting duke. each parry and attack u do gives bell prog as well as dodges so since u got carried for some fights u received less bell prog than you would have otherwise. so 9 would have been all u needed if u went solo.

Heres a take about the whole voidwalker being boring, its not that void progs are boring, its that the same thing has been happening in them since claris prog, for example of something more interesting is maestro prog had you hanging out with your friend and fighting in monkeys paw, and the entire first episode of lord regent progression was just you suffering (even if it wasn't a void walker progression its still an example of more interesting/entertaining occurrences happening.)

take on voidwalker origin: the fact that its plain better to go voidwalker just for the fact you're not being hunted and has the best way of transportation in the entire game plus a the pocket hub and the trial of one access, its absolutely insane to me, the only downsides are stupid manageable, like not getting as many exp from events (only a problem if you're running simple) and other voidwalkers trying to do same bounty. overhaul just plain better, not only for pvp, its for any progression that does not require you be selling itens in the dephs.
