Any type of critter you dont need to kill just need to be at least 15 tiles near it for it to count towards the bestiary.

if you ever try this in master mode, i suggest going for the toy tank. its like the scuttlix but it shoots bullets and rockets, plus it has a built-in double jump.

you can't do this in expert or master. You can't just tank bosses in those modes, you need to dodge

Pro tip: Dashing with any dash accessory and then immediately mounting will cause the mount to start at full speed, allowing you to use ramming mounts like the horse more effectively

@@patrykk63 well he fought golem using a severe lack of an available dash accessory, so no, he doesn't additionally he does all of this in normal mode, so the only non-tabi dashes are granted via the crystal assassin armor, which he also never uses.

First off mad props to you for doing this challenge but there are a few things I hav noticed that might have made it a bit easier, first off feather fall potions are amazing when it comes to mount mobility making most prehardmode bosses a breeze, and also there is a super powerful mount dropped by the mech Santa boss thing in the frost moon although it requires expert mode. Edit: I have been informed that the Santa's mount is actually master mode not expert

you may or may not know this already, but a featherfall potion does the same thing as the umbrella also, you can hold down to fall faster when you are using the umbrella (or hold attack which will let you pulse the falling)

For scutlix mount you had to kill the guy on the creature when he's still ON the creature , if you kill the mount first the rider will transform into an another martian variant (which dont have mount is the item drop pool), the creature itself dont drop the mount item neither fyi. for that mount farm i use a floating lava line on bubble block at something like 3 block above the floor level.
