Had a blast painting this. You guys brighten each Wednesday with your enthusiasm and laughter. And the explanation of those "techy terms" is so informative. And yes contrasty is a word... it's a Sarah word.

thanks for another amazing art lesson using all of the “technical terms.” I’m so happy that Steve made you guys laugh. keep spreading joy!

I searched for Keenan Ice Bucket Challenge...no dice :) It was only a few days ago that the man who inspired the Ice Bucket Challenge passed away from ALS. Amazing how one person can touch so many lives. Worth noting - You guys are my favorite KZbinrs - wonderful tutorials and I have learned SO much already. In 2 months I am turning out works of art. It's incredible!! Happy Holidays and Sarah I hope you get better soon!!

Great tutorial on value. The marks made on Birch trees are usually caused by bark pealing off and by branches breaking off. These marks are called "eyes" because when you see them they are somewhat eye shaped. Just thought you'd like to put that in your book of knowledge, Sarah. Hope you feel better soon.
