Its not a risk right now. The reason covid spread so fast is because it was novel, it had the perect "lock and key" protein and our bodies didnt have the correct immune response ready. It was very good at getting past the inital "gaurd" type cells that spund the alarm. Which was why the mRNA vaccine worked so well at lessening the mortaility rate.

Bird flu is already an epidemic in India. Poultry is promoted with the notion that "Indian chicken are immune to disease and that they don't carry disease." But then, research has proven that gene mutation can change just with diet supplementation. Even in remote villages in Uttarakhand, people have started to raise poultry, to get govt subsidy. And wherever there is this poultry, there is mild fever in humans for kilometers. People have pale eyes, pale skin, depression and more mental symptoms.
