The excitement of Madison appearing on the scene is similar for me how I feel about having Jacob Collier here now. There's really wonderful things to look forward to in the world of music

Andrew Bird is simply music. He plays and inhabits a song like he's belonged there all his life.

She's fantastic - love it! Pin It Down is os a steady rotation at my house... Gotta agree with the camera work - at least have an external mic so the mix doesn't keep changing...

I love these talks with the band. However I wish the camera person could be still for more than a second. Zooming in and out and shaking constantly is distracting from the people and music.

Madison is great, in my opinion cameraperson is too jumpy. Something weird is going on with the sound as well. Sound is nice mostly but seems to change a lot as the camera changes....

Great songs, great voice. But, and I think you probably know this, need to work on the sound quality of these videos. Sounds like you're using the inbuilt mic or at least something that's moving with the camera. Too bad!

Not to mention that clever cameraman! YEESH!!!

Great exchange, BUT #killthecameraman Seriously, WTF is up with the ZOOM IN | ZOOM OUT | ZOOM IN! Super distracting, please don't do that on the next video. These are gems, they don't need to be made "more exciting"
@matthewdanielsiskin5 жыл бұрын
fair enough - but if I kill myself who makes the next one of these?
@Taylor_King5 жыл бұрын
@@matthewdanielsiskin haha. I get the vibe you were going for, and it does translate; but it's perhaps a little excessive. Maybe setting up a room mic or two, so you can better balance the live performance audio as well. It's a little jarring having the focus change depending on where the camera is positioned (I'm assuming the audio is coming from the camera). Anyway, hope I'm not out of line; just thought I'd give some more constructive criticism to balance out the others haha.

Mr. cameraman, 'Mathew' : Please learn the piece ahead of time. You're all over the place, and sometimes, intentionally! Not cool. Sudden changes of framing. Jerky movements. During Andrew's bowed solo, where were you? On Madison. Then, when Andrew went pizzicato you finally decided to show Andrew. Out of sync. Awful video work, trying to be 'hip'. I could not sit through the interview, the unnecessary cam movements were awful. And, I'm not advocating 'locking down' the camera. Just be smoooooth, man. I absolutely LOVED the music, though.

Leave it up to a over zealous camera person to screw up a session like this! Maybe it’s someone’s kid trying to help out!
