Flats on that Jazzmaster. Respect.
@joermnyc4 жыл бұрын
Michael Himes flats have to be on those, round strings pop out of the bridge saddles (though that looks like a different bridge than the original one on the Jazzmaster and Jaguar).
@michaelthimes4 жыл бұрын
@@joermnyc I disagree. Flats do not have to be on jazzmasters or jaguars and thousands of players enjoy roundwound strings on their offsets - Elvis costello, Thurston Moore, J Mascis, Kevin Shields and Kurt cobain to name a few. Of course the Mastery bridge was invented to overcome the issue you describe which is more likely to happen with aggressive playing and before it, a mustang bridge was the common retrofit. For what it's worth - the bridge in question looks like tune-o-matic style bridge which looks to be stock on that particular model. Maybe it's a roller style - hard to tell.

Her guitar playing is phenomenal and makes a so perfect ensemble with her voice. In a time of too clean and sweet music, I love the tension, the dynamic of her harmonies and riffs.
