My copy of "A Handweaver's Pattern Book" falls open to Bird's-eye/Rose Path even without a bookmark in it. I love Bird-s'eye!

I'm not sure what you did differently than other twill explanations but that made so much sense! Going to try a points tie up for my next project :)

Great video! I had a run of towels on my loom with a point twill threading. I was doing a straight twill treadling. Got bored with it after a while and decided to play around. I did your treadlng.. loved it. Didn't know its name! Every time I see your Marguerite Davidson book I weep. I had one. Sold it. Long story. Anyway, they are out of print and impossible to find, even used.

Ooh, I hate it when that happens!! But you aren't alone! You never know when a copy will wander back into your life!

I love rosepath, which is a point twill? What is the relationship between, point twill, rosepath, and overshot! I can’t remember where I saw it but there was an article (?) and the title was something like Rosepath/Overshot blah, blah, blah. Is there a relationship between those three? I wish I could remember where I saw that the other day 🤦🏻♀️

Susan, that's a great question!! Bird's Eye & Rosepath are grouped together quite often! But, I haven't dug too deeply into all the differences. However, you've peaked my curiosity and I'll go find more details for us!

Can this pattern be used for a kitchen towel?

Hi Robin! Absolutely! Twill is great for towels, as long as the floats aren't too long!
