My chickens are free roam during the day and at about 7:30 every night they go to bed I've had them on this routine for about a month and they seem fine with it i have younger chickens that stay in the fenced area around their coop until they get a little bigger so when it gets close to bed time they wait by the gate i just started having them stay in the coop together and they seem to be fine the older ones just started laying eggs last month so thats pretty exciting i do let the youngers outside under supervision and they like it a lot but I've lost 6 of my 12 olders so I'm being extra careful with them. One of my olders is a easter egg chicken so she lays green eggs she an Americana. If i can figure out youtubes stupid newest way of recording I'll make a video

Chester is a chestnut eared aracari! And they're a medium-sized toucan that are native to South America, sorry this was out of the blue, but I hope this helps!

@@duckiidex I know what's it like to lose someone you care about. I lost my maternal grandmother in 2016 and most recently my Labrador Retriever dog at the end of August 2023. PS Sorry for the late reply.

Dont get a Bird if Your parents aren't ready in most circunstances its the Bird that end up suffering plus they do better In a pair then alone most of the time and not all birds are cuddly . They need constant attention and aren't good pets for Someone not at home most of the Time since they should be out of their cages everydays and only in There for the night
