If you enjoy free flight, macaws, cockatoos, alexandrines, eclectus’s, quakers, galahs, major mitchells, basically if you are obsessed with birds you will more than likely enjoy this vlog. As sad as it was leaving Mikey and Mia for 16 days, they were in great hands with Alex our birdsitter and we had an epic time away.
This video will show what we got up to on our holiday meeting free flight groups in Australia and New Zealand and also show how Alex is doing looking after Mikey and Mia.

Sat here and watched this with my sun conure, Rio. Never have seen him so quiet and focused on anything in my life haha- he was giving all those birds the stare down. Love your videos, keep up the great work :) You’ve both encouraged me with your amazing connection with Mikey to actually befriend my sun conure again (for the longest time I was too afraid to touch him). I don’t clip my birds anymore and, though I can’t free fly due to location, I encourage flight the best I can and have been conducting a project for school on the importance of flight in household birds. I love Macaws. Thanks for sharing. I grew up on the edge of Amazon region. Macaws are very loud at night in the wild. They "talk" constantly. They're are everywhere here in Brasil. I would never have one as a pet. I prefer to enjoy them in the wild. Glad you are a good pet owner

I have 2 budgies,And while they aren’t Hand Trained,they will sit on my finger if I don’t move,I don’t condone Clipping Wings,However we had to do it to one of my budgies,Because Our house has a lot of Dangerous places they could get stuck (Fan,Heater,etc) So that’s the only reason I’ve done it,I do plan on getting an African grey In the future,And thanks for visiting NZ,my home :)
