Twice they hatch and raise next generation outside my house. I give them fruits and they rewarded me with lovely Song.

I thought so too! From my experience so far, I feel this straw-headed bulbul would win the singing competition among all the different types of bulbuls found here. 😊. Moreover, in this instance, its singing was augmented by the cavernous acoustics of the quarry. It just sounded awesome! Thanks so much for listening! Am happy you enjoyed.😊

I thought so too. They are the best singers I have heard so far. No wonder they were poached for this ability. SG is very lucky to be able to enjoy these world-wide endangered birds.

What a beautiful song! I came here because of a Smithsonian article about these little guys. Singapore apparently has the largest population of them. I'm positive that I've heard this song while I was at the zoo there back in the '80s. It's a fantastic zoo and I fell in love with an orangutan! ;-)

A third of this critically endangered bird species live in Singapore, making the island the sole global stronghold for the popular songbird..." We are very fortunate to be able to enjoy this beautiful bird. I'm happy you had enjoyed our zoo. We also have a new bird park " Mandai Bird Paradise" with wonderful open aviaries. I hope you can visit our little island again one day!

Agree...this species are endangered world-wide, but thankfully, they seem to have found a safe haven on our little island. My channel name is actually a combination of names of my three schnauzers, Ki (Whisky), Dow (Shadow) & Mer (homer), hence Kidowmer 😊 Am happy to meet a fellow schnauzer lover.
