I love the Alekhine. So often you just end up playing theory for the first 10 moves or so and get a better position because no one studies Alekhine theory, but when you do the moves just make sense and aren't even difficult to remember. Part of that is also that there aren't that many popular lines, everyone essentially plays the same few things against it. It is kinda risky though as you do end up in wild positions all the time too.

Nice games! I want to study a little Alekhine now... I'm going full Bird mode the rest of the year... I'm doing some traveling and will get to take a break from prepping for club games. Hope you get a nice tailwind on your migration back to the US! caw!

Love the content . Views are definitely warranted as this is a breath of fresh air compared to the gothamchess and hikaru monopoly😂. At first I thought you were a 1900 after 46 days and was impressed then I saw your channel name and did some digging . Gm 😂

You should do a chessable course on the Alekhine. There’s only one and it mainly discusses g6 systems. You should do one without g6 and focussing on exd5 not cxd5 it’ll get a lot of attention.

Why do you keep saying its time to go?
@KaiParkinson-eh7zg3 ай бұрын
because when the BirdMaster says "it's time to go" it means it's REALLY time to go
