After Dressrosa you two might wanna take a short break from the show and watch some of its movies. The movies one piece heart of gold and one piece film gold go together, and there’s some other good and decent ones like film z that are pretty good and fun. You could also go back and watch one piece strong world, a pre timeskip movie and one of the only movies actually written by Oda. It’s definitely one of the most liked of the many one piece movies. It’s not necessary though, you can skip them all if you’re not interested. Or go back once your caught up with the show. Either way the next arc is even better imo, so I hope you enjoy it. Dressrosa is great but it’s also the animes worst example of extending and drawing things out, unlike in the manga, and the amount of extra episodes caused by that is astounding. They’re unnecessary, for example you will see the same flashback moments over and over again, to pad time, which is not done in the manga. Causes the anime to flow worse than its source material, there’s actually a pretty good fan Edit called one pace that I’ve tried on rewatch, it gets rid of most of the anime only stuff, recaps and repeated flashbacks, etc. I think it actually makes the dressrosa anime arc better since it flows more like the manga and you don’t feel constantly interrupted or that it takes 5+ eps for any significant event to finish.
