I just want to see the camera quality. I search the internet up and down to find birddog’s camera quality but very few results pop up.

Indeed. I want to see the camera quality difference between the X4 Ultra and the X5 Ultra in comparable situations. It's a big investment to add 3 of these cameras to our portfolio. I don't want to compromise camera quality for the excellent opportunity for quick setup and shooting with wifi. If we can use a third party WiFi 6 setup with the HX 5 then it just comes down to camera quality. Prosumer vs professional?

when the wifi cams are wireless 🛜 connected, is it possible to set pre-set using a Tricaster over ndi ?

Yes, You will have all the same NDI remote control as you would have with any other NDI camera, now without any cables.

What is the real WiFi range? Outdoors for live events, and indoors between studios, conference halls etc.?

Now that you have me thinking about wifi 6...can we operate the HX 5, with the sensor I would prefer, with a wifi 6 mesh network setup for portability and cable free setup like the HX 4?

the X4 camera is equipped with a Wi-Fi 6 2x2 MIMO Transmitter. The expected range is up to 150 ft, of course different conditions can affect that range. The X5 does not have Wi-Fi capabilities and would not be able to be utilized the same way.
