There was a segment on CBS Sunday Morning about a woman who built small gnome houses and hid them in their local park. They were wonderful to look at and the community enjoyed searching them out for the inspirational messages each one held. The city, being an uptight, stick up their butt type city deemed them a nuisance and removed them. Sigh.... I do love this.

This was fantastic! The effect that the birdhouse's natural lighting lends to the diorama within is perfect! I hope this stays intact where you placed it. Also, yes, that is a mink! We live on a river and see them all the time. Had one laying dead on our property along the river bank just a couple weeks ago, in fact. I'm not sure what happened to the little guy. He wasn't chewed up or bloody or anything like that, so who knows? Awesome piece, my friend! God bless!

Randomly popped into my head, I'd love to see the main street built for the WIW town. I'm imagining local ordinances in place to keep mechs and wagons on one side and foot traffic on the other, then everything getting held up because two twits are having a duel in the middle of town and causing a traffic jam. Would be a great opportunity to make tons of minis with lots of little mini stories going, like a kid chasing a jackalope, a horse being freaked out by a mech, a street vendor selling dodgy forestalls...

I always assumed you lived up near Denver, but I guess putting the birdhouse too close to home would be telling. Some parts of that park look a little familiar, but that's mostly because this whole state looks the same to me for some reason.
