I've been in love with this house for MANY years. Whenever I was in the area I would make a detour just to see the house. Nice to see what it looks like inside (incredible).

So beautiful!! Love this house!! I love how it’s modern with a bit of traditional!! Perfect blend and I honestly couldn’t dream of a better house than this!! 😍
@angelahgase92782 жыл бұрын
what makes this house interesting is that it’s modern mixed with slightly quirky style and stuff here and there that totally gives a homey/ livable feel. Intimidating and breathtaking outside but realistic and homey inside

I remember when this house was built. Nestled into a steep ravine hillside in the much sought after "Old Mill" neighbourhood of Etobicoke. The lot, which was considered an unusable and unsaleable wooded hillside, was purchased from the city for next to nothing. The architect designed and built the home to suit the awkward and "unbuildable" terrain. The build was extended over an unusually long period, due to the challenges of the landscape. It's truly beautiful, as long as it doesn't leak or slide back down the hill one day. The new owner certainly won't need to buy a StairMaster for exercise.

FOLKS, come to White Rock, British Columbia. You will see steep embankment and hillside home that are truly an unbelievable yet magnificently scaled feat of unfathomable engineering....on the beautiful Pacific. Afterall, we are not called the stunning Sausalito of Canada for nothing. ❤

This house was under construction for well over a decade due to problems with its foundation. With heavy precipitation events expected to increase in frequency, I'd suggest this house is likely at risk for ongoing and serious problems with the foundation.

lol why do people lie. they only renovated the house and did not build it from the ground up. So foundation issues is all a load of BS.

Great location. The neighborhood is you back yard. That park out in front to the right is spectacular. You can walk along the Humber River all the way to 401. I live on the Humber at James Gardens, and it is a jewel. Off to the south you can walk, ride a bike to Lake Ontario without hardly any streets. There are tennis courts just outside the house beside the river. The Old Mill is a great spot for Sunday Brunch. 15 mins to the airport and 40 mins to downtown. And High Park is a short drive away.
