Cheers mate yeah it's a hell of a place that. Sadly was a bit late in the year to catch the sunbirds in full breeding plumage. They are best in end of winter..

Thanks for the great video! One of my favourite birding spots. I think the Orange-breasted Sunbirds move to higher altitudes at this time of the year. I hiked up Table Mountain via Platteklip Gorge last week and saw TONS of them. Even saw a few on the top.

Ive been to Kirstenbosch many times and fortunately I've never seen any snakes.

Ive seen several, there's a pair of breeding Cape Cobras there right now actually.
