Then you hop in the whip with that freshly burned limewire mixed cd that you pop into the portable cd player that’s hooked up to the cars stereo system with a cassette adapter. Then you head out bangin hard as a mfer with no bass 😂 Those were the days!!

Lil Wayne will be remembered as the defining guitarist of the 21st century, with a virtuous, technical and emotive style of play that easily puts the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Slash and Stevie Ray Vaughan to shame. Similarly, his adoptive father Birdman has earned his place among the poet laureates of the generation; his clever wordplay, profound lyricism stunning vocabulary and passionate delivery makes T.S. Eliot and Edgar Allen Poe look like toothless crackheads who can't help but rub their hands together. On this recording, "Leather So Soft", we see the convergence of these two great minds, and the world has never been the same since. All humanity is better off as a result.

Wow! What passion and incredible skill. That guitar solo was mind blowing. I can only imagine how many young guitarist's is will inspire. Don't get me started on the deep and thought provoking theme and the lyrics. 50 years from now we will look back and think what inspired this amazing work of art.

I doubt wayne can remember the lyrics to this one he's got so many songs and the crazy thing is that he's still going and ain't slowed down a bit he really carried my childhood it would be a life changing moment to see him bring this one out the bag in a verzuz or on stage anywhere either way it'll go viral 😭 undeniably my goat we call him Dr Carter for a reason he birthed a whole new generation and influenced a lot of people and new artist's some good some bad but his worth ethic and music changed hiphop forever and it's safe to say that it'll never be another dwayne carter 💯🐐

I love this video, it's got everything, girls, white boy rockers, bad ass car that isn't a run of the mill rap video-super car, sign language, kids dancing, people chilling on couches, tigers, a rapper trying to play a guitar...how many more obscure things can you squeeze into 4 minutes, that all wraps together..?! Well done..
