Many thanks Ricky. It's an old production now but still nice to remember not only the Birds but the beautiful environments.

Thanks for sharing, Tim. I am so inspired by this. In the process of planning a trip for September 2024 researching all the sites and associated species. Field guides are good, but seeing birds in action is by far the best way to familiarise myself with the species. Your Films are by far the best I have watched. I can't wait to visit your country, many thanks from England.

I appreciate your kind words. I agree, to see a bird move and understand the 'jiz' is so valuable. Birding in Queensland is full of special moments. You will have a blast.

Brought back some great memories of my trip to FNQ in 2021. Such great birding up there, will definitely have to go back.

Yes, it is one of the very best destinations for birds in Australia, both in terms of density and species.

A beautiful video, thanks. I've passed the URL on to friends and family. You write that due to the age, the audio is basic, sounds great to me but you are the expert. How many years ago did you shoot this?
@TimSiggs2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much, it was filmed 8 years ago.

Really enjoying your videos . Do you sit still camouflaged and wait for the birds to come to you after finding the right spot or do you wander through the forest. I have been to many spots up northern Qld from the tip of Cape York to the Atherton Tablelands and always interested in other photographers techniques.

Many thanks, I have also traveled extensively through this great continent. Most of the birds on this particular film were stalked but a couple, I did built hides in predictable environments ie near water. For rarer and more difficult species, I do spend some time working out their movements and position myself accordingly.
