Crows and Ravens are crazy smart. They both pretty much remember faces for years, use tools, can figure out complex puzzles to gain food, understand that they see themselves in a mirror, can memorize patterns such as traffic patterns, can mimic human speech like parrots do though less often (Ravens do it more often than Crows). Iirc they have the equivalent intelligence of a 7 year old human.

No. Their tongues are actually _super_ long, and in the "stowed", beak-closed position, they actually reach _under_ the skull, wrapping up the back and over the top to tuck in somewhere near the base of the beak. This allows it to basically be a seatbelt for the skull while pecking wood. They also have some spongy bone in their beaks that helps absorb the impacts.

Two birds that show up a lot around my hometown are Cardinals and Blue Jays. I thought they were in the same family, but I just now looked them up and they are in two completely different tiers on this tier list. Cardinals are members of the Songbird faction, while jays like the Blue Jay are actually Corvids.

the parots and crows are up there because humans are the number one class and what differentiates us from other classes is that we are cooperative, sharing knowledge and stuff (same as crows) and are good at using tools (like parrots) If hawks and eagles were that smart and cooperative they would be above any of these birds

I feel like rattites should be on atleast B tier because of their size as well as strenghts what tierzoo completely ignored witch are: being able to spot predators from a distance, powerful kicks, their inteligence ( witch is quite large) and simply their size what allows them to body baisically anything smaller than it including cheetas and sometimes lions. For refrence cassowaries take down 10-20 humans per year.

They're one of the few megafauna that can actually get bodied BY cheetahs. Pretty much most big animals ate capable of putting humans in coffins, so that's no real unit of measurement here.

Ostrichs are pretty scary birds they can u up to (or close to) 40 mph and their toenail is like two inches long However the golf ball sized eye ball is bigger than their peanut sized brain🤣
