Birds of Suriname

Small birds in Suriname, Amazonia. This is a collection of footage of "small" birds in our part of Suriname (South America). 99% of the footage has been made in our own yard. I excluded the hummingbirds, parrots/parrakeets, birds of prey, and pterodactylae, because I want to make separate video's about them. Hope you'll enjoy it! Subscribe if you like it. Indeed, nature is created by God (the one from the Bible) :-) We loved to live there! But hey, if there were no humans on earth, we also wouldn't know how beautiful those birds were! :D

@@DoubleUThings That's the point, not everything needs to be tied to human egotism. Earth needs no humans to be fine and no there needs to be no human conscience of it. Birds and other animals fully justify earth's existence without human presence.

@@goognamgoognw6637 Depends on what you believe. :-) Earth was created with people in mind, so it makes no sense without people. If there were no people, there would have been no earth. No, that's not arrogance. That's how it is. It's just a shame we are ruining it.

Haha, ja, heel veel mooie vogels, maar we zijn ook in Colombia en Equador geweest en daar zijn nog veel meer schitterende vogelsoorten :-)

deelo Ja, genoeg mooie beesten te zien. Ik heb trouwens nog veel meer videomateriaal van daar waarvoor ik tijd moet vinden om het te bewerken. En nee, na negen jaar daar wonen is het leuk geweest. Veel te warm en te vochtig :-)

Hello DoubleUThing, in witch area you have make this Video? Paramaribo? Nickerie ? Lelydorp? We Visite last year Suriname but we see not so match nice birds, I think we must come again to Suriname. Guten Tag, WiGola! Dein English ist gut genug. Besser dann mein Deutsch :-) Weil ich ein Hollander bin! We lived in the Commewijne district for almost 9 years, and most of these birds I filmed in our garden. The fact that you see so many birds, is because we lived over there for so long. If you really want to see many birds and other animals, you better go to Ecuador or Colombia, especially Mindo national park. I have another video on my channel, which is called Hummingbirds of the cloud forest. It's full of hummingbirds, of which most of the footage is taken near the place we stayed for a while.
