Our existence would be nothing without the birds! And the odd Tobernone thrown in there as well...

thanks Darren, that's how I role 😉 . It was the perfect day for it. I was in a t-shirt for the day and met two Spanish ladies coming down from the watchtower wearing jackets 🤪, so maybe not as warm as I thought :😃

Good stuff. Gannets put on a nice air show.

They sure do Pat, took a few mins to determine the pre dive manoeuvre, but once figured out it was great to watch. Still had loads of missed shots, but it was good craic. 👍

Thanks Brian, always enjoyable watching the birds do their thing (oh my, did I just say that 🤓), those gannets were a right bonus at the end.. 😀

Magnificent bird. Watched them in action in Dingle Bay near the Lighthouse last year. I see you teamed up with Darren Spoonley recently. Another lover of theDingle peninsula.

@briankenrick1309 they were relatively close to the shore and even without the long Lens you could watch them. It was brilliant tbh. Yea, met Darren by pure luck below, just both happened to be down there. As you say, we both love the place so it was going to happen at some stage I suppose. 😬

Hi Eddie, Brilliant video and photographs even without your melodious tones !! Nice to hear the natural sounds of the water and the birds in the background. Can I ask what lens you were using?
@eddieforde6 ай бұрын
Thanks Denis, must be something up with the autocorrect “melodious tones” 🤣🤣 Lens is the RF100-500, and also had the 1.4 teleconverter. I was swapping 1.4 all day so no idea when I was using it for the video. I picked it up when I was in Australia, was discounted, good exchange rate and claimed tax back when leaving Oz. It’s incredibly impressive and am delighted with it. If you have any other questions fire away. 👍
